Ashley Ingersoll
Deborah C. IngersollDeborah Ingersoll, known for her ability to bring diverse groups together to achieve common goals, has been a driving force in Texas politics since 1989.

Ranked multiple times in the Texas Lobby Power Rankings, Deborah has worked with a wide range of high-profile clients, including AT&T, Southwestern Bell, the Texas State Troopers Association, Mirage Resorts, and Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo. She has also been recognized as the Capitol Crowd’s Favorite Female Lobbyist and was featured as Person of the Week by Robyn Hadley for her outstanding contributions to the Capitol community.

Beginning as the founder of Reference Guides, Inc., Deborah revolutionized access to information about elected officials long before the digital age. Her innovative approach to compiling and distributing critical data paved the way for modern legislative resources. She later built on this success with the creation of Legislative Solutions in 1994, where she has continued to excel in lobbying, fundraising, and email distribution.

Deborah is responsible for the creation of the Online Texas Lobby Guide, which provides access to all registered lobbyists. It is easier than ever for individuals and organizations to find the representation they need because it is updated daily. 

An El Paso native, Deborah has not only left her mark on the legislative world but also brings expertise as a licensed real estate agent. Her entrepreneurial spirit, combined with proven experience, makes her a trusted advocate and partner for her clients.

Ashley IngersollAshley’s versatile talents have led to success in a variety of roles. A former teacher and small business owner, she brings enthusiasm and determination to every task, with a knack for formulating solutions to any problem.

An alumna of Concordia University with a degree in Education and a minor in Mathematics, she has supported Legislative Solutions for more than 10 years in various capacities, including administrative assistance, event coordination, data management, research, billing and account management, as well as schedule and travel coordination.

She is an excellent communicator, a dedicated mom and wife, and an essential team member at Legislative Solutions.

Jodi Ingersoll MeyerAs a seasonal contributor to Legislative Solutions, Jodi brings her Agile, research, and training experience to support special projects. 

With a lifetime working in the family business, Jodi first volunteered with a political campaign while in kindergarten, handing out stickers to voters. From helping bind Guide to the Texas Legislature publications, to helping coordinate political events, she enjoys contributing to the democratic process. 

Formerly a Spanish teacher, Jodi is now a Certified Scrum Master, improving workflows and delivering products as an Operations Specialist.

While studying abroad in Spain and Mexico, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, followed by a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Texas Tech University.

Sophia FloresWhile pursuing a Bachelor of Accounting at the University of Texas San Antonio, Sophia assists with special projects and research. 

In May 2024, she earned her Associate's Degree in Accounting from San Antonio Community College. 

Greg Beaty
Greg BeatyGreg has 25+ years working with Legislative Solutions. His many responsibilities include creating emails for distributions, setting up and scheduling of email delivery and maintaining email databse.

An alumnus of Angelo State University, he began his career in radio and television news. Greg was the evening anchor for KTXS-TV News for 10 years before he moved to Austin to serve as Press Secretary for Senator Steve Carriker. He has since worked for several political organizations and coordinated many political campaigns.

Brooks ScharffFrom database integration to website fixes, he brings creative problem-solving expertise to the team. Brooks has grown up with a fascination in all things computer-related, and began professional IT work at the age of 19. Much like his heroes of the tech industry, Brooks attended University of Texas at Dallas to study computer science, but took on full time Informational Technology work when the opportunity arose to pursue his passion in a professional capacity.

His experience includes 3 years of outsourced information technology, and another 6 years in real-estate industry IT consulting. His approach to technology involves streamlining processes to maximize efficiency.
